Registration and payment questions
How to register for the service?
Use the Sign in button in upper left part of the webpage, or just follow this link. Choose your username and password; enter your name, surname, mobile number, country, e-mail. Use your username and password to log in the system.
How to choose appropriate rate plan?

Depending on the destinations you will send you bulk SMS and the amount of SMS you need to send, we offer you several packages. At page Pricing, you can see available packages, choose your package and press "Try now".

You will move to Rate plans menu of the control panel, where you will see the chosen package. Press “Buy” button. Here, at the Packages purchased you will see the package you have bought.

If your account funds are insufficient to purchase an option, it will have “Top up account” button that will redirect you to Payments page. Please note that it can take up to 1 min for the newly purchased package to take effect.

How can I top up my balance?

Since it is a prepaid service; we offer you several payment methods: PayPal (account or debit \ credit card)

To top up your account, you need to:  
  1.  • Log in to your account
  2.  • Proceed to Purchase menu (see it on the left side of the Dashboard). Here you’ll see the Rate plans available. But to purchase a rate plan here, you’ll see the Top up your balance button.
  3.  • Click Top up your balance and input the amount (all payments are in EUR) in the pop-up window, click Put to Cart. Now you can see your Shopping Cart is not empty.
  4.  • Proceed to cart to make the payment (upper right corner). Choose Pay button – you’ll be transferred to the PayPal system to make a payment. You can pay with your PayPal account or using your debit or credit card.
Which currencies do you accept?
All transactions are in Euro (EUR) by default. You can top up your balance using the other currencies accounts (card, PayPal account), the payment will be converted according to the currency rate at the moment of payment.

Can the rates change?

Since we purchase wholesale SMS from Tier 1 carriers, the rates can change weekly to us. On a monthly basis, we review our rates and if necessary increase or decrease them in line with the carriers’ charges.

We are going to inform you about any changes in out rates at our Blog and by newsletters, you'll receive them if subscribe using the subscription form in the footer of the website.

Are there additional costs?

No, the rates displayed at Pricing page are without any hidden charges. Inside the EU, only VAT will be added for all private users. All the private users in the rest of the world and all the companies (inside and outside EU), will not be charged for VAT by us.

Do you provide VAT receipts or invoices?

Yes, we provide invoices for all your payments. To request the invoice, please, contact us filling up the feedback form at the end of this page.

How do I know my payment details are secure on your website?

Our website uses SSL encryption, and it is an approved secure website according to industry standard. All data use 2048 bit signatures and up to 256 encryption with highest possible levels of security.

SMS campaign settings questions
How to set up sender?

You can set up several sender names. For example, you want to send SMS in bulk from your company’s name, from a specific brand or your name, or any other name or number.

At the menu Senders of the SMSonnet control panel, click +Add and set up a name. You will choose it later at the menu Campaigns while setting up SMS campaign.

How to add contacts?

Next step is to add contacts. Go to Contacts menu of the control panel >> at Contact group click +Add and name a group >> click Save.

  • Button +Add contact allows adding contacts one by one manually
  • Button Upload from file  - adding contacts from .csv or .xls file at your computer.
 

Note! If you add contacts manually you need to specify the following details: first name, last name, phone (mandatory), comments for each recipient (but without column titles).

You can add five more additional fields for other data about your client.

How to create SMS?

Go to Templates menu and click + Add to add new message template. Create a text message template. When clicking on the arrow icon on the left side of template form, you can select any of the macro-parameters supported for auto-insertion of contact data: From, To, First name, Last name, Comments. Choose these macro-parameters and input your text message.

 

You can also insert short links in the message body.

 

Note! The maximum character length for 1 SMS in Latin-based alphabet languages like English, French, and Spanish is 160 symbols. Long text messages are divided into parts 152 symbols each. The maximum length for 1 SMS by other non-English characters (languages not using a Latin-based alphabet, like Arabic or Chinese) is 70 symbols. Long text messages are divided into parts 67 symbols each.

How to run SMS Campaign?

Go to Campaigns menu, click +Add, choose Sender name by clicking on the arrow, choose Group of contacts and choose your message template (you have created all this earlier). Click Add start date & time >> choose the day and time. Click Account – choose your account. Click Save Campaign. Everything is ready! Your clients will start receiving your SMS at the date and time you have set up.

 

Note! You can schedule your SMS messages to be sent at a later date and time for up to one year in the future.

How to create multiple groups of contacts and target on them?

At the Contacts menu, you can create groups of contacts, name it by a tag (according to some target: age, gender, interest, and other). Use groups of contacts at Campaigns menu, while setting the SMS campaign.

How to upload contacts database from my PC?

To upload Contacts from a file go to Contacts menu of the control panel >> at Contact group click +Add and name a group >> click Save.

How to schedule SMS campaigns?

At Campaigns menu, while creating SMS campaign, you may either run it at the moment or set up future date and time of the campaign.

Where can I see the reports of the messages sent?

See the report at Statistics menu. Here you can see all the messages and their statistics that were sent out using this account. It is possible to apply filters to message parameters and display messages for a specific campaign; here you can also export your statistics data to the .xls file.

Can I send test SMS?

Yes, we offer you 5 SMS for free, so as you could ensure the quality and keep getting benefits by choosing your rate plan.

Which countries can I send bulk SMS?

We provide you bulk SMS distribution to over 200 countries. To see the detailed list of countries, please, move on to the Pricing page.

Can I send bulk SMS to multiple countries?

Yes, you can.

How many contacts can I send a message?
We do not limit the contacts number.

There is no restriction on daily SMS amount that you can send. Note, the limit on SMS amount per month is 1 million.

Can I connect SMS service to my corporate system?
Yes, at the menu Connections of the control panel, you can add and edit external application connection parameters. You can use this interface to set up credentials for your system or application to make it able to interconnect with SMS retail system and send messages through the module. HTTP template is as follows: <portal_url>/send_sms?ani=<ani>&dnis=<dnis>&message=<message>&username=<username>&password=<password> where username and password are the credentials that should be taken from this interface; ani - Originator address; dnis- Destination number; message - text message. SMSONNET control panel questions
How can I use Blacklist menu?

If you want to extract someone’s contact from your contacts list not to send SMS to this number (or numbers), you can add this contact to Blacklist – in this case, the number will never receive you SMS (until you delete it from the Black list).

What for is Templates menu?

Here you can create as many message templates as you need, specifying template name and message body (with tags %from%, %to%, %first name%, etc.). Use these templates when setting up Campaign.

What for is Payments menu?

Here you can add funds to your account; specify the amount to pay in desired currency and proceed to PayPal website to complete the transaction.

What for is Rate Plans menu?

At Rate plans you can see Packages purchased by you and Packages available - available rates to add if you need it.

Note! To start SMS campaign, you need first to top up your balance at Payments menu, and after this purchase a Package, according to your advertisement budget, SMS amount, and contacts amount.

To add new billing package from the list of available options use “Buy” button. What for is Connections menu?
